CPRE Northern Lincolnshire was originally set up in 1976 (then called South Humberside CPRE) to take account of Local Government boundary changes. Prior to that it was part of Lincolnshire CPRE. Campaigns have included: out-of-town supermarkets; destruction of ancient woodland; the industrial expansion of the south Humber bank; wind turbines; hedgerow removal; greenfield housing development. The geographical area covered by the group is that of the North and North East Lincolnshire Council areas.
